Do you provide handouts, courseware & other resources?

Yes. For both private and group classes, we provide additional resource material to aid learning. As necessary, the instructor may create custom notes from that day’s class. Textbooks, special exercises, PDFs, and web tools may also be used.

What are your instructors like?

Our instructors are highly experienced in the tools they teach and in teaching itself. Many have advanced degrees in education, computer science, design, and more. We pride ourselves on being patient and keeping a “beginner’s mind.”

Do you teach Apple/Mac products and apps?

Yes. We teach Mac OS tools including Microsoft Office, iMovie, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photos (formerly iPhoto), iPhone, iPad, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Entourage, and more. Contact us to learn more.

Do you work with Seniors and Beginners?

Yes. This is one of our specialties. We love working with older adults. We’ve partnered with the Bay Area non-profit Senior Surf, which specializes in teaching older adults the wonders of technology. Their instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and reliable.

Private and group classes are available on all topics for all skill levels.

Do you provide computer tech support?

Yes. Pretty much anything the Geek Squad can do, we can do—and often cheaper. We clean up computers, remove viruses, speed up slow machines, install software, fix wireless/network issues, and more. And of course, we come to you.

Do you allow recording of virtual/remote classes?

To maintain the exclusivity and confidentiality of the training content, we ask attendees not to record sessions. This safeguards the educational experience and respects the privacy of both the instructor and participants. Inquire further with questions or for additional pricing policies.

Do you have a computer lab where you hold classes?

No. Our specialty is in-home and on-site computer training so you and/or your team don’t have to travel. If you’d like an off-site classroom experience, we can refer you to trusted partners—contact us for a referral.
